Information
The
Division of Urology provides
inpatient and outpatient evaluation
and treatment of patients with urologic
disorders.
The
Division of Urology interacts actively
with most other adult and pediatric
services at Howard. Affiliation
with District of Columbia General
Hospital, Children's Hospital, Walter
Reed Army Medical Center, and the
Georgetown University Stone Center
has served to fortify and enrich
the Howard experience. Two full-time,
eight part-time and volunteer urologists
constitute the staff.
The
Division of Rrology has developed
a special expertise in the treatment
of Prostatic Cancer that has been
recognized at a national level in
the awarding of an NIH research
grant to further the study of this
disease which inordinately affects
the African American population
of the United States. The
newly established center for impotence
and incontinence in this world class
potential.

urologic services are available.
Physicians accept referrals for
consultation/second opinion and
ongoing management.
