General Information

The Division of Nephrology offers a broad range of consultative and treatment services for patients with diseases of the kidney, including glomerulonephritis, kidney infection, interstitial nephritis, hypertension, fluid and electrolyte disturbances, acute and chronic renal failure and transplant medicine.

Services

The End Stage Renal Disease Program offers a full range of treatment modalities: hemodialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis, intermittent peritoneal dialysis and hemofiltration. These services are closely linked to the kidney transplant program of Howard University Hospital.
