The President of the Medical Staff shall provide advance written notice specifying the date, time, and place of each quarterly meeting to all Medical Staff members.

  2. Special meetings of the Medical Staff may be called by the President of the Medical Staff, by a majority vote of the Executive Committee, or at the written request of any twenty-five (25) members of the Medical Staff who are eligible to vote. Section 2. Committee Meetings

  1. All Standing Committees shall meet at the call of the Committee Chair, unless otherwise provided herein. Meetings may be held telephonically or electronically, at the discretion of the Committee Chair. A special meeting of any committee may be called by or at the request of the Committee Chair, the President of the Medical Staff, or the Medical Director.

  2. The action of a majority of committee members present at a committee meeting at which a quorum is present shall constitute the action of a committee. A quorum at any committee meeting shall require the presence of at least fifty (50) percent of the committee members, but in no event, less than two (2) members.

  3. Minutes shall be prepared of each committee meeting, and shall include a record of the attendance or absence of each committee member and the vote taken on each matter before the committee. The minutes shall be approved by the committee at its next meeting and, following such approval, the minutes shall be forwarded to the Office of the Medical Staff.

  4. The attendance of committee members at committee meetings shall be required.
