Purpose

We're here to respond to the medical and healthcare needs of international and diplomatic clients residing in the Washington metropolitan area and those seeking medical treatment from respective foreign countries.

Who We Are

HUH International Healthcare Services is a worldwide provider dedicated to international clients and their families.

We work exclusively to meet the needs of international patients seen at HUH for either routine doctor's visits, follow-up visits, executive health assessment program (EHAP), screening and/or special medical treatment.

We provide and ensure prompt access to the highest quality medical care services tailored to meet the medical and personal needs of our international and diplomatic patients.

Physicians and medical support staff work together across specialties to provide a multidisciplinary approach in treating complex medical problems, diseases or injuries.

Our service ensures and encourages communication and relationship between international referring physicians and Howard University Hospital physicians from the initial contact until the patient is discharged. Those services include:

• Follow-up of discharged patient
• Diagnosis and treatment recommendation
• Arrangement of emergency transport for patients from any part of the world
• Translation and faxing of medical records for patients
• Physician-to-physician phone consultation and referrals
• Status reports on patients being treated by HUH physicians
• Professional exchange programs
