General Information
The Endocrinology Division physicians offer clinical and treatment to patients of all ages
with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Members of the Endocrine Division are certified and faculty members of Howard University. Innovative research and comprehensive care for patients with a variety of endocrine disorders are hallmarks of this division.
Services
In addition to consultative service, the section has weekly clinics and office hours which provide specialized care for patients with endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, metabolic bone, calcium, lipid, pituitary, reproductive and growth. In addition, an American Diabetes Association recognized diabetes education program taught by certified diabetes educators for patients requiring diabetes self-management skills. Diabetes support groups are available for patients of all ages.
